WordPress 2.7 Beta 1 - First Glance

This brand new design layout is setup with comprehensive user feedbacks and surveys. It provides a slim and professional look of how open source development can reach. Elements have been grouped in such a way that you can easily find your way out to make out any operation on wordpress with only a few clicks.

The new WordPress 2.7 navigation bar, is now in a vertical layout. Just to point out everything listed here is the same as in your previous version of WordPress, it has been revised for a better and quicker way to access your operation.
Posts: You can manage your post here (add, edit, tags, categories)
Media: You can independently add media(Without being in a post)
Links: Manage links
Pages: Manage Pages (add, edit)
Comments: manage comments (validate, delete, spam)
Appearance: Themes, Widgets and other colors option
Plugins: manage your plugins
Users: manages users and rights
Tools: Export, Import
Setting: General settings and other settings for WP and Plugins

New WP 2.7 has made out some revision on the new post admin screen to make it a lighter and less clumsy interface compared to WP 2.6, It does not have much elements by defaut on the top of the screen there is a “Screen Options” where items that are visibles can be checked off.
